Good Morning Hartford!
I bought a new car… and it’s broken already.
Don’t you just hate that? (it’s nothing a few hundred bucks won’t fix 😭 )
But don’t worry, the days have been too beautiful to worry about anything else.
As you know in New England, days like the weather we’ve had the last few days are few and far between because in 3 months, we will be wearing long sleeves till May 2027.
Sheesh…
Anyways, there is PLENTY to do around Hartford to cure your boredom, and we got our official first sponsor, so let’s do this!
In today’s edition of The Hartford Pour, we’ll get into:
🍺 Hartford’s SECRET Coffee Spot
🫢 FAT AND FUZZY DUCKS (iykyk)
💰 What’s Happening in Hartford County?
and more…

Together with Sharetown
A Sharetown Rep is responsible for:
Picking up lightly-used, oversized return items from nearby customers.
Storing the item (usually in their garage or storage unit).
Reselling it on local marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, and Craigslist.
Earning profit — Reps average $165 per sale, with potential to earn $2,000+ per month.
It’s a low-risk, high-flexibility opportunity that gives people the ability to build a side-business on their own terms.
PS. Send this to anyone looking to make a little something on the side!

COFFEE SHOP HOT SPOT
🫢 Hartford County SECRET Spot
(New place no one is talking about)
The one thing I love most about writing for The Hartford Pour is having an excuse to try a new spot and share it with you!
If you're not already following us on Instagram, I totally recommend that you do. Just click here and follow!
I’ve started to post more content and reels there, and the latest one happens to be about this place called 7Brew Drive-Thru Coffee.
The drink that you see in the picture above is called the Cookie Butter Breve. (not really sure how to pronounce “breve”, lol)
But regardless, it was delicious. Usually when I go to Starbucks and get an iced drink, I'm always disappointed because there's so much ice and very little liquid, and I'm done in like three sips.
You don't have to worry about that with 7Brew.
The other cool thing about them is the experience because it's strictly drive-thru, and the baristas or the “Gen Z” workers that I saw there walk up to the car as you're waiting in line so that you can order much faster.
They aren't really known for their food, but they do offer Seinfeld-like muffin tops. They come cooled because they must be refrigerated, but they taste pretty good nonetheless.
Anyways, be sure to check out the video I made for it right here.

NEW RESTAURANT OPENING
🍲 FAT AND FUZZY DUCKS (iykyk)
(It’s not as bad as it sounds…)
The wait is officially over!
Fat Duck Tavern has opened its doors in West Hartford, taking over the former Vinted space in Blue Back Square.
The address is 63 Memorial Rd and they are open every day except Monday. 3pm to 9pm Tuesday through Thursday and then 11am to 9pm on the weekends.
The duck art is quite unique. So look out for it. But when I hear “tavern”, my ears perk up!
This place is a massive win for our local drink scene in Hartford.
Prices don’t look too bad either, but if you want a deal, mark your calendar:
They are launching their official Happy Hour this Thursday, July 16, starting at 3:00 PM.
Swing by, grab a local draft, and check out the new space!
If you’ve already been there, please reply and let me know what you think!

THE REAL FUN
💰 What’s Happening in Hartford County?
(The Cure for When You Need Something To Do)
July 14
Lots to do around Hartford this week! Check out the Eastside Plaza in Manchester (153 Spruce St) between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
They are hosting a free coffee bar with lawn games and music to celebrate the new plaza. Free caffeine always tastes better, am I right? lol
Later, make your way to The Foundry’s Summer Music Nights in downtown Hartford (400 Columbus Blvd).
From 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, they are pairing live jazz with my definite favoritel an incredibly smooth handcrafted cocktails.
The best part is no reservation is needed for the lounge—just show up and sip.
July 15
Honestly, Wednesday is all about being your own bartender, but nothing is wrong with that…
Regardless, pack some of your favorite craft beer or canned cocktails, and head to the Elizabeth Park Conservancy in West Hartford.
A local songwriter and lead singer Milton will be playing a free show starting around 6:30pm.
This is a total “bring your lawn chair and chill” type of vibe. You could even bring a picnic blanket. Temperatures should be moderate around that time which is great.
July 16 (Tickets)
This is the really fun one…
Artisan in West Hartford is throwing their massive summer Garden Party from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
But check out the value: For $33, you get two complimentary handcrafted cocktails, chef-curated passed hors d'oeuvres, and a live DJ.
It’s upscale, it's summer-chic, and it's the exact way Thursday night was meant to be spent.
Sounds awesome, right?
If country music and light beer are more your speed, Thomas Rhett is back and taking over the Xfinity Theatre starting at 5:00 PM.
